Josh Hile, CFA, CPA

CEO & CIO

Josh is an investor with a background in manager research and private markets. Back at Laird Norton Wealth Management, a $16 billion Seattle RIA, he ran investment strategy and research across public and private markets, including impact and sustainable investing. He sourced, diligenced, and monitored equity managers and opportunities in real estate, private equity, private debt, and venture. Before that he did fund manager due diligence at Russell Investments. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.

Marshall Dunford

CTO

Marshall is a product builder with experience taking software from concept to millions of users. Back at MedBridge, as employee #7, he worked with the CEO, led Patient Engagement, and led work on scalability, security, enterprise integrations, and marketing funnels. He holds a B.S. in Informatics from the University of Washington.

Curtis Yasutake, CFA

Director of Investments

Curtis is an investor with a background in GP-stake deals, underwriting, and manager research. Back at New Catalyst Strategic Partners and Pacific Current Group he led GP-stake investing and deal execution. Before that he was a Senior Research Analyst at Russell Investments. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a B.A. in Business Administration from Seattle University.

Alyssa Mertens

Director of Operations

Alyssa brings extensive experience in investment operations, process management, and client service. Prior to joining Citizen Mint, she served as Investment Business Manager at Laird Norton Wealth Management, a $16 billion RIA, where she partnered with the CIO to support operational initiatives, strategic projects, and client service. Earlier in her career, she specialized in alternative investment operations, building a strong foundation in the processes and complexities of private investments.

Josh Giordano, CAIA

Director of Capital Formation

Josh is a capital raiser with a background in institutional fundraising and investment banking. Back at Ares Management he worked in the private equity division. At Jefferies he was in investment banking. He works with independent RIAs and family offices on infrastructure, private credit, private equity, and real estate. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Lehigh University.

James Barber, CFA

Board advisor

Former co-CIO and Head of Private Investments at AIMCo, overseeing more than $50bn in private assets. Previously CIO, Equities at Russell Investments.

Dominique Carrié

Board advisor

Investment Manager at Ceniarth, a family office focused on impact-first investing, leading diligence and monitoring across direct and fund deals. Previously with Social Finance UK.

Ken Willman

Board advisor

Former Chief Legal Officer of Russell Investments, responsible for compliance, risk, and legal. Previously 16 years at Goldman Sachs in London and Hong Kong.
